Overview

NaphCare is hiring a strong Utilization Management (UM) Liaison to join our Utilization Management team located at our Regional Headquaters in Arizona. 

 

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Contracting and Network Development, the UM Liaison – ADCRR is responsible for performing clerical and administrative tasks to support the overall function of the UM department.  The UM Liaison-ADCRR is responsible for responsible for effective communication flow between various departments and providers, supporting the UM Administrative staff to achieve the overall goal of retrieving medical records within the specified time period,  data collection, data entry, data verification, and other general administrative functions.  The UM Liaison – ADCRR must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; be customer service oriented and organized; and have the ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Utilization Management (UM) Liaison:

 

The UM Liaison – ADCRR will be responsible for creating and maintaining site specific accurate directories, and ensuring all contracted providers are in the directories for use by the onsite Schedulers. The position requires the ability to manage communication and effectively interact and present information regarding the network to Clinical Coordinators/Schedulers, as well as perform market research for network development. The UM Liaison – ADCRR will be expected to work effectively and multi-task in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Qualifications for Utilization Management (UM) Liaison

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college experience preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact positively with outside clients, providers, co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives
  • Must be able to multi-task and work independently
  • Hybrid position allowed (after training)
  • Other duties as assigned
