Overview

NaphCare is hiring experienced Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) / PCT just like you in Tucson, AZ. This position is located at the Pima County Detention Complex. We have opportunities for full-time with great benefits, part-time, PRN, and 13-week temporary contracts available. Pay rates range per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Responsibilities

Position Description:

  • Assist with direct patient care procedures
  • Obtain patient history
  • Take Vital Signs
  • Prepare Charts
  • Assist with medical examinations
  • Perform routine procedures under stablished protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG’s, dressing changes and wound cultures)
  • Normal physical requirements – standing, walking, sitting, lifting, squatting, etc.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant in state of employment
  • Valid CPR Card
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably correctional healthcare
