Responsibilities for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA):

• Provide routine clinical tasks
• Perform routine blood drawing procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA):

• State or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants
• Office Lab Assistant License required (Only for Nevada.)
• High School diploma or GED certificate
• One (1) year clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Minimum two (2) years college preferred
• Valid CPR
