Overview

NaphCare is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians, Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs/EMTs), or Paramedics just like you at the Arizona Department of Corrections - Lewis located in Buckeye, AZ.  Full Time, Part Time, and PRN shifts are available; 13 week contracts may be available.  PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.  Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience.  Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed with upon interview.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

 

  • Take and document all patient history and vital signs
  • Complete intake screening
  • Administer and read PPD
  • Draw blood
  • Assist with examinations

Qualifications

Qualifications for AEMT/EMT/Paramedic:

 

  • Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted certification/license in AZ
  • A valid CPR card
  • A minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
