Overview

 

NaphCare is hiring a Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) to join our team at the Mesa County Detention Center located in Grand Junction, CO.  *This position requires a CO QMAP Certification along with a CMA certification and is responsible for providing routine clinical tasks. Pay rates range from $19.00-$22.00 per hour based on type of license, certification, Shift, FT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Responsibilities

 

Position Description:

  • Document and administer medications according to written physician's orders
  • Take and document vital signs, height and weight
  • Assist with PPDs and EKGs
  • Assist with examinations and/or treatments as needed
  • Report all changes in patients’ conditions
  • Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications

Qualifications for Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP):

  • A valid cpr card
  • Qualified Medication Administration Personnel/Certified Medical Assistants certification for Colorado
