Overview

NaphCare is hiring an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) like you at the Arizona Department of Corrections – Perryville located in Goodyear, Arizona.  Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN shifts are available.  PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

 

Pay rates from $44.00 - $55.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.   Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

Responsibilities for ADON

  • Providing supervision of nursing and support staff on assigned shift in correctional setting
  • Providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients
  • Works with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and mental health needs

 

Qualifications for ADON:

  • Bachelor's degree or RN with two years’ experience required
  • Must hold valid RN license in Arizona 
  • Must show current tuberculosis documentation 
  • Active CPR certification
  • Prior experience providing nursing care, working with a high degree of autonomy required
  • Prior experience in supervising nursing staff preferred
  • Experience working in a correctional environment preferred
