Overview

NaphCare Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct and manage formulary reviews, including prior authorization evaluations and appeals management.

 Provide comprehensive drug information and communicate effectively with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

 Analyze and review drug utilization trends to ensure cost-effective and clinically appropriate medication use.

Collaborate with other pharmacists and team members to enhance formulary management processes.

  Stay up-to-date on current clinical guidelines, drug trends, and regulatory requirements impacting formulary and medication management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in Alabama
  • Experience in formulary management, including prior authorization reviews and appeals management (preferred).
  • Strong ability to communicate complex drug information to healthcare providers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prior work experience with a Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) or Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a focus on collaboration and innovation
