Overview

NaphCare is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Manager to maximize the daily operations of our pharmacy, with a strong focus on enhancing workflow efficiency and process improvement.  This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and experience in a pharmacy setting (pharmacy technician experience preferred). The Pharmacy Operations Manager will be responsible for analyzing current workflows, developing and implementing strategies to optimize processes, and monitoring compliance. 

Responsibilities

Operations & Workflow Management:

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations across all production areas, ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing.
    • Will need to allocate pharmacy resources based on daily needs.
  • Communication with both internal and external partners to include but not limited to:
    • NaphCare Pharmacy personnel across all areas.
    • Site personnel at the facilities NaphCare Pharmacy services.

 

Process Improvement & Efficiency Optimization:

  • Analyze existing workflows and identify areas for automation and operational enhancements.
  • Work with NaphCare Pharmacy leadership to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Utilize data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement and manage processes to improve workflow efficiency, reduce redundancies, and enhance accuracy.
  • Identify bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions to streamline operations.

 

 

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor and implement quality control measures to reduce errors and improve service delivery.
  • Work closely with leadership identify and address compliance issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required: 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting (pharmacy technician experience preferred).
  • Preferred: Experience in a high-volume or institutional pharmacy setting (e.g., long-term care, correctional, mail order).
  • Proven experience in implementing process improvements and workflow optimization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
