Overview

NaphCare is hiring an EHR Trainer to join our growing team on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL 35216.

 

The EHR Trainer/Product Manager will be a member of the NaphCare Software Implementation Team whose objective is to successfully introduce, implement, train, and maintain the clinical and operational functionality of uniquely tailored version of the TechCare EHR Solution and other products.

 

The successful candidate will act as a primary onboarding, continuing education, and training resource for customers of NaphCare’s EHR and internal Operations teams with a focus on driving the progression and long-term successful use of the TechCare EHR System. This role will participate in training the leadership team, employees, oversee process management, and lead demonstration activities for EHR training development.

 

Travel (up to 10 days per month) is required of this position.

 

The preferred candidate will have a proven history of hands-on EHR Training Experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating scalable written and video education content.

Responsibilities

  • Formalize and manage training and documentation processes for EHR transitions
  • Provide virtual and live onboarding sessions ranging from 1-hour sessions to multiple, days long events
  • EHR usage escalation point for both client partners and co-workers
  • Support role for TechCare EHR Sales and Marketing activities as needed
  • High level of confidence in a classroom training environment
  • Attendance at industry events and involvement in TechCare User Groups
  • Software Training Team management, organization, and oversight
  • Ability to command a classroom training session and act as a calming and reassuring presences for new users navigating the system in a high-stakes environment
  • Ability to work different shifts, including day and night shifts and/or full and partial shifts
  • Ability to work within a ticketing system to handle EHR related education matter

Qualifications

  • Clinical experience (RN, LPN, LVN, NP, PA, etc.)
  • Act as project manager for EHR go-lives training and continuing education
  • Minimum 4 years of experience of EHR Training classroom prep and activities
  • Proficiency using EHR software systems; clinical and/or super-user experience is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in general information technology, software (video conferencing platforms), and technical concepts strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel across the country to complete job responsibilities
  • LMS content creation
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication skills, with both internal and external clients and vendor partners
  • Experience working in a team-based, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
  • High level of comfort with learning, building, and applying skills in both public forums and technical areas
  • Adeptness at translating technical language and concepts to end-users, as well as clinical workflows back to technical terms
  • Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects or features towards known goals with minimal supervision
  • Experience in EHR and clinical workflows in a Correctional health care setting.
  • Ability to create lesson plans, release notes, user manual content, and video content for classroom training and the LMS (Docebo)
