Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Network Manager:

 

  • Negotiates, administers, and executes hospital and physician contracts in accordance with company standards in order to maintain and enhance networks to ensure we meet and exceed quality and financial goals.
  • Coordinate bid proposals, which includes community health care research and fiscal analysis.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining hospital and physician networks, which includes negotiating reimbursement rates, market research for healthcare services across the country, cold calling and contract language review.
  • Responsible for contracting and operational issues for the life of the contract.
  • Develop strong relationships with executive teams of our network hospitals and the providers affiliated with our network hospitals in order to achieve network growth and cost targets.

Qualifications

Qualifications for Network Manager:

  • Ability to work independently and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment and exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives. 
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be customer-service oriented.
  • Have the ability to problem solve.
  • Be well-organized and work and perform independently with hospital executives in all negotiations.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in health care administration or business administration preferred.
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation and provider contract language required.
  • Understanding of Medicare Parts A and B reimbursement required.
  • Ability to interact positively with outside clients, coworkers and supervisors.
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%.
