Overview

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Jail Operations, the Clinical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating various project elements, setting objectives, coordinating development and training of new or revised clinical processes and monitoring progress of projection implementation related to our comprehensive healthcare operation.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and Organization:

Creating detailed project plans, establishing timelines, coordinating resources and budgets based on defined project scope, goals, and deliverables based on direction from the SVP.

  • Team Leadership and Management:

Collaborating with multiple departments to build and develop project teams, complete tasks within areas of expertise, assign tasks when additional expertise is needed, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration to achieve project success. 

  • Execution and Monitoring:

Taking action on project plans to ensure that project goals are completed in a timely manner to achieve overall project success.

  • Budget Management:

Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within allocated financial resources. 

  • Stakeholder Communication:

Communicating project status, progress, and any issues to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and other relevant parties. 

  • Problem Solving and Risk Management:

Identifying and addressing project challenges, mitigating risks, and ensuring that the project stays on track. 

Ensuring compliance with governing agency regulations and accreditation standards at the local, state, and federal levels.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports. 

Qualifications

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Active, unencumbered nursing license required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Must possess strong written communication, verbal skills, and computer skills.
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience required; leadership experience in a healthcare setting preferred; correctional experience highly desirable.

  • Dependability—the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Safety and security—the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.
