Overview

NaphCare is seeking a skilled Paralegal – Contracts Specialist to join our legal team and support the full revenue contract cycle. In this role, you will draft and review contracts and amendments, track key dates and obligations, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of revenue-related agreements. This postion will be at our Corporate Office located in Birmingham, AL 35216.

 

 

Responsibilities

Position Description:

  • Drafts and reviews contracts, amendments, and related legal documents supporting revenue-generating activities.
  • Manages the full revenue contract lifecycle, including intake, drafting, negotiation support, execution, amendment and renewal.
  • Tracks key dates and obligations in contracts and ensures compliance with contractual terms.
  • Assists with preparation of business proposals to win new contracts, and to renew existing contracts.
  • Tracks stages and deadlines in contracting cycles.
  • Performs clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, composing and typing routine correspondence, reading and routing incoming mail.
  • Prepares correspondence and maintains document files.
  • Files correspondence and legal documents in the office filing system, ensuring proper indexing of original legal documents.
  • Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes.
  • Assists with special projects and performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Prefer 2+ years of related legal experience supporting a team in an administrative capacity.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, 
  • Excellent skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, time management and an ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
